I rent a villa for July for a 5 persons family for 10 days. The villas are located in paradise, full nature and serenity. There are many villas but you have privacy. The unit has all facilities also a private pool.Inside well decorated, full extra kitchen,a jacuzzi downstairs made of stone and marble. I loved the suroundings and the view.
in the middle of August I booked this villa for a week .It gives you the feeling of owning the villa, and not being just a guest. Each one has private pool very clean. We love Halkidiki for holidays and the village of Nikiti combines everything. the villa is luxury built, marble and stone, furnishing of fine wood and has all the amenities.
At the basement has also a spa jacuzzi for private use.During the day we were at the beach not far away from the unit, 10 min by feet.and the noons we enjoyed our veranda and the pool.it is ideal for night bath. excellent combination for relaxation and privacy.
we booked this villa, two couples for a week in Halkidiki. Our first time there.Halkidiki is a peninsule near the city of Thessaloniki, and you can reach by car.
The villa was beyond our expectations. The place has everything you want for relaxing holidays.Every villa has its private pool, its private balcony hand made by stone. The house is spacious and with all facilities. So is like to spend your holidays in your own countryside house. The beach is close to the villa, the sea is the meaning of greek summer.i loved it.
There’s also a jacuzzi on the basement, all made by stone and around has sofas.
you have your own fully equiped kitchen so you can prepare your lunch.the evenings we ejoyed the sunsets at the balcony with a bottle of wine and music.
The village of Nikiti is a traditional one,at the shore are many taverns and bars, two nights we had a dinner there,by the sea.i fell in love with this place, definitely recommended.
Situated near Elia on a very quiet coast road, these villas typify all that is best about Greece. As a couple, we booked a one-bedroom villa, but were upgraded at no extra cost to the larger Villa Maria, which is outside the main gate, with partial sea views over the road. We can highly recommend it. It has three open air seating areas – an upper deck for breakfast, a lower one by the L-shaped pool for the afternoon sun and a veranda by the front door where you enjoy the sunset, drinking ouzo and listening to the constant song of a nightingale! Sheer Hellenic bliss! A stroll across the road takes you to a really excellent taverna, attached to the Hotel Virginia. There is no need to eat anywhere else. (Indeed, the options around here are rather limited, unless you drive to Nikiti or Neos Marmaras.)
The villa is all stone and marble, and very well appointed. The kitchen is well-equipped (both types of oven, coffee-maker, large fridge-freezer, toaster, even waffle-maker!), there is digital TV, a music centre, good air con and a small but adequate bathroom. The large Jacuzzi seemed not available for use, so check this out. Kostas and Maria give you a wonderful welcome and provide fresh bread daily (and sometimes fresh berries from the garden!) plus the usual breakfast items on request. Rooms are serviced and linen changed on alternate days.
But this basic description really gives you little idea of how special this place really is. You are living in luxurious, secluded and peaceful surroundings in a very attractive, relatively unspoilt corner of Greece. Very, very different from those large, impersonal hotels, offering a ‘square box plus balcony’ at almost the same price. So if you want something a bit different, do yourself a favour and come here. You will not regret it.
I love this place as a couple. We have visited before some years and after seeing the renovations we talked with the owners and they booked us Villa Maria. We have a small child now of 1 years old and the pools are excellent for having fun with safety. The breakfast are excellent and the products are all delicius, delivered everyday at our front door !! The inside of the villa was renovated last year and looks even better.
I would like to thank Miss Mairy & Kostas for the lovely accomodation and for the amazing spirit she always has.
I stayed with my family at the Villas this August as well as two previous summers. Each year we stayed at the different house, personally my favorite is Nepheli. Place is run by Maria and Costas and their family and they are kind and friendly people who are eager to please and fulfill any requests you might have. I read previous reviews and with all due respect I have to disagree with some things mentioned. Firstly, it was always very clean, with daily maid service, fresh towels for bathroom, pool, beach (more than you can use),dishes left in the sink, even a few cups, are washed. Secondly, cats are there for a reason just like dogs are even if they are not running loose. Cats are all vaccinated, sterilized, friendly. Delicious breakfast and fruits await every morning. Sun decks and pool, that each house has, are made for enjoyment. Pools are spotlessly clean. Beach is just few steps away but there are many others close by. Across the street, at the cozy Virginia hotel, there is the most beautiful taverna, where you can enjoy great food and spectacular view of the sea.
Maria Elena Villas is place of refined luxury and peace. We spent 10 days during August in one of the Luxury Villa and enjoyed every moment. In case you wavering between 5 * Hotel or one of Maria Elena Villas as we did, I would certainly vote for Villa.
You will avoid the clutter to get on time for breakfast in the morning, and early disembarkation from the beach, at the time when it`s best for enjoyment, to catch up the dinner.
Villas are furnished with care and taste and the atmosphere is great.
Breakfast you can enjoy on your spacious balcony. Every morning groceries are supplemented by kind staff including fresh orange juice. Full cleaning service is available every second day as well as fresh towels for bathroom and beach. We tried two types of Villa`s and prefer the one from the Luxury group rather than Premium.
Spa & Wellness looks nice on photos but not quite usable. Taverna over the beach, part of Virginia Hotel has outstanding view but average food and poor service, we preferred the one in the nearby Athena Palace hotel more.
Was a really pleasant stay. We had a clear view of the sea from our bedroom and the pool was great for the kids. The fully equipped kitchen meant we could throw a party and just a few minutes away was a lovely pebble beach with a restaurant a stone throw away where we had our coffee after the morning swim. About 10 minutes away was a lovely sand beach cove. I disagree with the negative reviews since if I wanted a 5 star hotel I would have gone down the road. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Mr. Costas and Mrs Mary.
Several villas of a warm, nice, friendly family with helpful staff. The villas are superbly designed as architecture, as used materials for their construction, furniture, etc. All rooms having AC, windows mosquito nets, mosquito-cutters, equipped kitchen, full-fridge for all members of our family for breakfast the next day.A nice thing: every day someone brought us fresh bread and left it in a special bread pan on the window outside the house. Also there, the rule of the house said that we have to leave a small sticky note with what we want them to bring us for breakfast the next day – butter, eggs, juice, etc
Our pool water was daily oxygenated and the pool cleaned. I had to print something and just got a phone call, they offered to printed out in their office and brought to my home document directly (to the villa).
We enjoyed at maximum. Only one day we went to the other beach, the rest of the days we stayed in the house, on the courtyard sensual beds and in the elegant, romantic setting beside the pool with candles and flowers.
My family and I have been going to this place for the past 3/4 years. This is due to great hospitality, kindness and friendliness of the staff and the the owners (Costas and Maria). Besides that the villas have a great location! It is peaceful with the beautiful view of the sea while simulteneously being surrounded by a lot of olive and pine trees. I personally found the villas to be clean, and another great feature is that you can wish for any type of food in the morning (for breakfast) and they will bring it to you.
There is so much more I can write about Maria Elena Villas but the comment would be too long. I highly recommend for everyone that is interested in this place ro come and stay, and enjoy a beautiful vacation in Sithonia.
