The island of Diaporos is located opposite Vourvourou in Sithonia, on the 2nd leg of Halkidiki. It always has warm, turquoise waters of great depth allowing the visitor to go by boat and enjoy this unreal landscape. It is the largest of the cluster of 9 islands of Vourvourous Bay and has a huge natural bay of 700 meters, which ends in shallow, very warm waters. The whole island is covered with pine forest, making it a paradise on earth and reminiscent of the Caribbean. Access is only by boat, which you rent from the surrounding beaches.
